Very interesting points of view! This house does not have a tree around it on the top of that ridge. I love the second shot because of the little scraggly trees giving the flat roof something else to look at! The bottom shot with the golden light really bathes the house in softness for me. Not to mention I LOVE ROCKS. Thanks for your comments.

I'm in agreement with Larry on all three photos.

The vertical shot does a really nice job of accenting the house and landscaping leading up to it.

The middle shot only works if you are trying to sell a buyer on having some privacy as a result of the trees. For showcasing the house and the environs it misses the point. If you were framed on both sides of the house by the trees it would work.

The long shot of the house with the trees in the foreground leave too much space before you get to the house. If yuo were wanting to show the isolation of the house I would get even further back and maybe try a different angle.

These 3 images tell the story of that house and its environment very well. The bottom one definitely jumps out at you --- great light, nice sky, gorgeous colors, wonderful architectural shot. But I also really like the middle one with the screen of trees. What a fabulous place to live...until you get snowed in anyway... Is Pagosa Springs in Colorado?

Nice job Shirley. My fav is the verical shot at the bottom. I think the even spacing of the trees in the middle shot provide to much screening to the structure for me. On the top photo I would like to see the building a larger portion of the photo [I know - it's a landscape, not an architectural], maybe by moving closer to the foreground tress and shooting slightly through them. IMHO
